At this point we have read chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, and 6 of Caring for people God’s way. This assignment will be a personal reflection on each chapter that we have covered, presented in a PowerPoint format.

INSTRUCTIONS

Create a 10—14 slide PowerPoint presentation with a title slide and a reference slide (title slide and reference slide not included in the required slide count). The content of the presentation should address what you believe are the key points from each chapter and why. In addition

discuss how Christian counseling may differ from secular counseling in each area. For example:

What do you feel was the most valuable part (or parts) of Chapter 1? What is something new you learned? What key points should someone going into Christian counseling be aware of from that chapter? How might Christian counseling and secular counseling differ in this area?

The Bible and the textbook should be cited in each slide, in current APA format. Direct quotes should not be used within the presentation. Instead, paraphrase into your own words with citations. Note that bullet point format makes a presentation easier to read, but content must still be in complete thoughts. First person may be used for this assignment.

The assignment should meet the following requirements.

 One to two slides for each chapter (1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, and 6). 10-14 slides, in addition to a title slide and reference slide.

          Content should address the key points of each chapter (in thorough and complete thoughts) and integrate scripture.

          Each slide should.

 Cite the textbook in current APA format.

          Cite the Bible in current APA format.

 Not use direct quotes. Instead, content should be written in your own words with

proper citations.

          Be creative, but consistent with presentation design (should look professional).
